Job summary

Columbia Wellness in Longview, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Detox unit on-site. You will manage medication administration, perform assessments on admission, and support the Medical Department leadership with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's is preferred.
• Current WA Nursing license required.
• MHP/MHS eligible is preferred.
• 2-4 years of psychiatric nursing experience and/or in a sub-acute detox environment.
• Strong nursing assessment skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage medication administration and MAR/charting.
• Assist in policy development and adherence within Acute Detox & Stabilization.
• Perform medical assessments on admission to detox unit.
• Collaborate with medical leadership and interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor patients and coordinate care transitions and referrals.
• Provide education about medications to patients and families.
