Job summary

Evergreen Recovery Centers in Lynnwood, WA seeks a compassionate LPN to join our detox admissions and patient care team. The position supports detoxification processes, including pre-screening, health history collection, and administering detox plans and treatments.

Night shift 7pm–7:30am, full-time; three shifts per week; in-person work. You will monitor patients, administer medications, maintain safety and documentation, and coordinate with discharge referrals after stabilization.

Qualifications

• Licensed in WA as RN or LPN with an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year detox/withdrawal experience preferred; psychiatric experience a plus.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with staff, patients and referral sources.
• Compassion and empathy with boundaries for patients under influence of substances.
• Valid WA driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detox admissions and provide patient care during detoxification.
• Perform pre-screening and obtain physical assessments and health histories.
• Administer detox treatment plans and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patients and respond to clinical needs during detox.
• Coordinate discharge planning and treatment referrals post-stabilization.

We are seeking energetic, compassionate, hopeful nurses to assist with detox admissions and provide patient care support during detoxification process including pre-screening, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, monitoring of patient, administering drugs, medications, treatments, and tests.

Our 16-bed acute/medical withdrawal management program in Snohomish County expands beyond nursing care to also ensure that patients have immediate access to assessment, counseling and treatment referral by discharge.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure in Washington State as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year detox/withdrawal management experience desired; psychiatric experience a plus.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff, patients and referral sources.
• Maintains compassion and empathy as well as clear boundaries with patients under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction.
