Job summary

MadisonHealth in Rexburg, Idaho is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to plan, coordinate, and implement patient care tailored to the age and needs of our medical/surgical population in the Acute Unit.

The RN ensures high-quality, safe care aligned with unit standards, collaborates with staff and physicians, and remains flexible to evolving systems. Schedule includes nights, three 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays; benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Idaho required.
• BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS preferred for pediatric readiness.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and basic publishing.
• Ability to communicate clearly and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care in Acute Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Deliver high-quality, safe care aligned with unit standards.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians and adapt to changing systems.
• Support staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect.
