Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC seeks a Speech Pathologist to develop and implement services in coordination with the rehabilitation team. Under supervision of the Manager of Speech Pathology, you will evaluate patients across adolescent to geriatric ages, document care, and participate in care conferences.

You will manage a full caseload, delegate to staff, precept students and fellows, and contribute to department efficiency while maintaining licensure requirements (CA SLP license, CCC-SLP, BLS).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication disorders satisfying CCC-SLP academic and practicum requirements and successful completion of clinical training.
• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Internet access/utilization.

Responsibilities

• Initiates care per policy and provides/manages all aspects of speech pathology intervention upon referral.
• Completes all required documentation per departmental policy.
• Participates in clinics, rounds, and patient conferences as assigned.
