Keck Hospital of USC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Speech Therapist for per diem 8-hour day shifts to deliver speech pathology services to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Under supervision, you will evaluate patients, document care, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team.

Minimum qualifications include CCC-SLP certification and a California license, BLS, and LA Fire Life Safety training within 30 days of hire. Precepting students and maintaining productive caseloads are expected.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Communication disorders satisfying CCC-SLP requirements and clinical training.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and internet usage.

• Initiate and manage all aspects of speech pathology intervention.
• Maintain comprehensive patient documentation as per policy.
• Participate in clinics, rounds, and patient conferences.
• Attend conferences to provide continuity of care.
• Provide leadership to facilitate conference processes and communication.
• Manage a full patient caseload and meet departmental productivity.
• Precept students, Clinical Fellows and/or new staff.
