Job summary

Sentara is hiring a Speech Pathologist for the Hampton Roads Area - Resource Pool PRN to work in Acute Care/IPR. You will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs targeting speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Education requirements include a Master’s in Speech Pathology and VA licensure for Speech Pathology, plus BLS. The base pay range for full-time employment is $94,265.60 - $139,048.00 annually, with additional compensation possible.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• Virginia licensure for Speech Pathology is required or pending.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitative programs for speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Provide education to clients and caregivers and supervise care where applicable.
• Work in acute care/IPR settings as part of Sentara’s care teams.
