Norwalk Hospital Association seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to perform examinations, develop plans, and apply interventions in an acute care setting. Scope includes newborn to geriatric patients, with potential rotation to outpatient sites as needed.

Requires Master’s in SLP, ASHA CCC or candidacy, CT licensure, and CPR. Experience with instrumental swallow studies such as MBSS and FEES is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC or candidacy required and CT licensure to practice SLP.
• Temporary licensure may be considered; CPR certification required.
• Experience with adult to pediatric populations in acute care preferred.

Aufgaben

• Performs examinations, develops treatment plans and goals.
• Provides care to newborn through geriatric patients per standards.
• Performs instrumental swallow exams (Modified Barium Swallow, FEES).
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and supervises students as assigned.
• Maintains productivity and thorough documentation in medical records.
