Novant Health's Rowan Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a Sonographer I Acute to join the acute care imaging team. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm with rotating call/holidays.

You will prepare patients and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic scans across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and OR settings. The position requires an associate degree (or 2-year equivalent), ARRT or CAAHEP-recognized education, and ARRT/ARDMS certification within 6 months of

Competenze

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in sonography, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and ARRT in Sonography or ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire, required.

Mansioni

• The Sonographer I Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the ultrasound equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans in the acute setting.
• The sonographer is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include biopsies, drainages, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.

Formazione
