St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the acute rehab therapy team.

The role focuses on evaluating and treating speech and language disorders to restore function after disease or injury, helping patients maximize independence and communication in daily life. Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification or CFY in progress.
• Oklahoma State Licensure eligible.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS certification required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Clinical internship in hospital or rehabilitation setting recommended.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong working knowledge and skill experience with neurological conditions including CVA, TBI, degenerative neurological diseases, dysphagia, and other neurological, SCI and cognitive disorders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development and provides treatment appropriate to adult/geriatric patients.
• Administers evaluation tools and standardized tests and adapts plans to individual needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Modified Barium Swallow evaluations and communicates recommendations to physicians and nurses.
