Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for the SLP Acute Care Hospital position in Seattle, WA. This assignment is in an acute care facility on a 13-week contract, starting 11/02/2026, with dayshift hours. Travel-friendly opportunity with a supportive team and Epic charting system.

The role requires 1 year of experience, CCC-SLP, and BLS certification. Responsibilities include bedside swallow evaluations, dysphagia management, discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a speech-language pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification required; BLS preferred.
• Travel experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assess and treat patients in acute care settings.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and modify care plans.
• Develop and update plans of care and discharge instructions.
• Educate patients and families on dysphagia management.
