Job summary

AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking an Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist for a StaffFlex contract. The position is a day shift, full-time with a 13-week assignment and pay of $59.50 per hour. Flexible hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirements.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, SLP license, and BLS CPR certification, along with acute care hospital experience. MBSImP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient ability to perform independent living skills.
• Design appropriate plans of care with treatment frequency.
• Implement treatments using applicable modalities.
• Document progress accurately and timely.
• Plan discharge and provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Meet productivity standards defined by the department.
• Assist with teaching clinical students.
