Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Tennessee seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join the Adult Acute Care team at Tullahoma-Harton Hospital. The role focuses on evaluation and treatment of swallowing, speech, cognitive-communication and voice disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate has strong dysphagia expertise, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and is committed to continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification required or eligible for Tennessee licensure.
  • Minimum 5 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience with dysphagia.
  • Ability to work in inpatient, outpatient and contract service settings.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat adults with swallowing, speech, language, cognitive-communication and voice disorders.
  • Provide comprehensive dysphagia assessment and treatment; MBSS/VFSS and FEES when indicated.
  • Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans and educate patients and families.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians and therapists; document care per standards.
