Job summary

Nurse Care Solutions LLC is seeking an RN in Washington to deliver skilled nursing care and collaborate with physicians and the health-care team. The nurse will assess, implement, and evaluate care following approved policies and protocols, while maintaining professional skills within the Nurse Practice Act.

Key duties include medication administration, documentation, care planning within 24 hours of admission, direct patient care, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience in acute care setting, preferred.
• One or more years recent telemetry or cardiac RN experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Provides physicians and other health care team with accurate information to promote continuity of care; documents and supports treatment and examination.
• Documents care including medications and vital signs; develops patient care plans within 24 hours of admission and tracks charges.
• Provides direct patient care according to established standards; obtains consents and follows Nurse Practice Act.
• Fosters teamwork through orientation of new staff, staff meetings and in-service trainings.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
