Job summary

Prisma Health’s Greer Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting. You will lead the nursing process, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes data-driven care, adherence to policies, and continuous quality improvement, with potential weekend/holiday/on-call duties as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• In lieu of one (1) year of registered nurse experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency accepted.
• In lieu of Associate degree in nursing, nursing diploma with licensure to practice as a registered nurse accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency and uses evidence-based practices in nursing process.
• Identifies nursing priorities and develops individual plans of care with patient/family and care team.
• Updates plans based on condition changes and communicates with team.
• Evaluates outcomes and ensures patient safety and continuity of care.
• Delegates tasks within RN scope and ensures completion of assignments.
• Monitors quality of care and uses performance indicators for improvement.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing
