Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (AD/BSN/Diploma).
• BLS certification current.
• ACLS certification as required by unit.
• Maintain current certifications throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care per policies and standards.
• Interact with hospital staff and ancillary departments; resolve concerns.
• May require weekends, holidays, evenings, nights or on-call status.
