Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking an experienced RN for the IMU/PCU at 10 East. The role requires a California RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS with ART within six months, and at least two years of recent acute care experience in IMU/PCU.

You will work in a high-acuity environment with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and participate in shared governance to improve patient outcomes. Applicants with BSN/MSN and PCCN certification are preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN License issued by the State of California.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six months.
• Must have at least two (2) years of recent acute care RN experience at the IMU/PCU level of care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical skills to manage complex, evolving patient conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
