Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to plan quality care.
• Develop, discuss and communicate a realistic care plan with patient and family.
• Implement the medical plan of care and nursing interventions as needed.
• Evaluate problems and patient responses to ensure quality of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support care coordination.
• Perform duties defined for the emergency/critical care unit as required, including age considerations.
• Maintain current knowledge, certification, and licensure.
