Job summary

South Shore Health in Massachusetts seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized, outcome oriented care using the nursing process, coordinating assessment, planning, and execution according to hospital policies.

You will administer medications, develop and update care plans, ensure safety and compliance, document thoroughly, educate patients and families, and participate in professional development and teamwork to improve patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN license required.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Familiar with nursing process and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration following SSH policies and procedures.
• Develop, evaluate and update individualized plan of care for patient and documents outcomes.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; perform hand hygiene and use PPE as required.
• Document patient care per nursing policy and unit standards.
• Communicate plan of day and discharge/transfer barriers to team.
• Support patient/family engagement and ethical decision making.
