Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, education and evaluation for assigned patients.

You will coordinate care with the health care team to maintain smooth patient flow, ensure safety and quality, and deliver patient/family teaching. California RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Evidence of continuing education.
• Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education.
• Current Basic Life Support Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with other team members to maintain patient flow.
