Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute care setting. You will perform nursing assessment, planning, education, and evaluation for assigned patients and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team to maintain smooth patient flow.

Requirements include a California RN license, current BLS, and evidence of continuing education. Prior acute care experience or formal classroom education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Evidence of continuing education.
• Prior acute care facility experience or formal classroom education.
• Current Basic Life Support Card (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Coordinates the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines to maintain flow.
