Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, part of The Valley Health System, is a 336-bed facility northwest Las Vegas. The hospital provides comprehensive services, including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and is supported by Universal Health Services.

An RN role is available to provide safe, competent care and leadership across the healthcare team. The position requires an active Nevada RN license, current BLS, and PALS or NRP as needed by the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or NRP Certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s).

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
