Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, creating care plans, and evaluating patient responses under the Texas Nursing Practice Act.

You will delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies, educate patients and families, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must have BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Document care and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient safety and compliance with Texas Nursing Practice Act.
