Job summary

UK HealthCare in Lexington, KY seeks an RN for Chandler 5 Main Acute Care. The role requires clinical nursing care for adults with diverse medical/surgical conditions in a 5 Main unit. You will perform assessments, care planning, and patient education, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Two 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7:30am) Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun, 24 hours/week paid as 36 hours/week under WEPP. ADN required; BSN preferred; Kentucky RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license, Temporary Work Permit or reciprocal license in good standing.
• ACLS/Basic Life Support required for Healthcare Provider (AHA) valid for at least 6 months.
• RN with ADN; BSN preferred and welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, direct patient care in adult acute care.
• Assess, document, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
