Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, seeks an RN for full-time direct patient care in Acute Care Med-Surg units. Day and night rotations with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. Onsite role with pay range of $35.29-$54.71 per hour, depending on experience, and supportive career development opportunities.

Minimum requirements include an RN license, BLS certification, and at least 6 months RN experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board approved program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience.
• BLS/ CPR certification required and valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice for patients.
• Model proficiency by precepting new staff or students.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
• Work in Acute Care Med-Surg units with moderate to high acuity.
