Job Description

Anglin Consulting Groupis looking to hire a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN). Duties include:

  • Performs a comprehensive assessment on all assigned patients as evidenced by completed documentation.
  • Supports patient/family/spiritual/cultural needs when assessing the patient and family needs for teaching; identifies the patient's learning level and readiness, and documents education record.
  • Communicates changes in patients condition promptly.
  • Utilizes appropriate nursing diagnosis and data from the assessment to derive realistic outcomes and documents them as measurable goals on the plan of care; modifies care plan, if indicated, in order to identify realistic patient goals.
  • Identifies and prioritizes patient needs and/or nursing diagnosis for patients and documents.
  • Collaborates with patient, family, and other members of the health care team when planning patient care, and documents accordingly.
  • Assesses patients with regard to discharge planning and makes the appropriate referrals as necessary.
  • Implements nursing interventions consistent with the established plan of care.

  • Oversees and directs the work of patient care or support techs; maintains overall accountability for the care of assigned patients.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in the charge nurse/preceptor role when assigned; assumes responsibility for coordinating patient care for the entire unit
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Current unrestricted RNlicense from any state,District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States

Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), The Commission on CollegiateNursing Education (CCNE) and The American Nurses CredentialingCenter (ANCC). Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or in related field or a Master’s Degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred

Two (2) years currentexperience in an acute care, medical/surgical setting exclusive of agency assignments and must have worked within the last six (6) months in the above settings

  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)from by the American Heart Association.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written).
  • Flexible and able to make quick accommodations to schedule changes as well asprocess changes and to travel with limited notice.
  • Organized and able to multitask; prioritizes based on protocol and visit parameters.
  • Consistent preparedness for specific visits requirements as well as equipment andadditional supplies for potential trouble shooting at the visit.
