Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Acute Care is offering JumpStart opportunities for nursing students to begin their health care career while finishing school. The program provides monthly financial support and reimbursement of board and licensure fees, with a retention path after licensure.

Open to students across MercyOne's acute care units, including General - Cardiac Nephrology, Post Surgical, Ortho Neuro, with locations in Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and Oelwein.

Qualifications

• Earn monthly financial support while you finish your last semester of school.
• MercyOne will reimburse your board and licensure fees.
• Once you have your licensure, start your career with MercyOne (retention requirement based on position).

Each of our Acute Care units is open to JumpStart students and offers something special!

MercyOne Waterloo Acute Care offers three specialized units.

• 2 General - Cardiac Nephrology
• 3 General - Post Surgical
• 4 General - Ortho Neuro

MercyOne Cedar Falls is home to the Cedar Falls Post Surgical unit.

MercyOne Oelwein is home to the Oelwein Med Surg unit.
