Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, plan care, and coordinate interventions to prevent complications and promote independence. Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 1 year recent acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA preferred
• Must have electronic charting system experience
• CRRN preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications and restore optimal functioning.
• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care according to established standards and policies.
• Ensure environment is safe for patients, visitors, and staff and adhere to infection prevention standards.
• Assist patients in regaining physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence.
