Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1 year of acute inpatient hospital experience in the United States.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Knowledge of medical procedures and conditions and ability to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies and procedures; accesses online manuals.
• Translates learning into practical Nursing Process application.
• Completes Nursing Assessments on admission, at each shift, and with condition changes.
• Interprets assessment data and formulates Nursing Diagnoses.
• Develops Plans of Care with individualized interventions and documents outcomes.
• Administers medications and IV therapy per policy; delegates tasks per scope of practice.
• Ensures accurate charting and documentation across all flowsheets and care plans.
• Provides patient/family education as needed.
• Collaborates with Case Manager for discharge planning and transfer paperwork.
• Uses and maintains patient care equipment safely and appropriately.
