Job summary

Registered Nurse needed for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - McKinney. Join a fast-paced Acute Care Unit with high acuity patients in a Magnet facility. We seek a minimum of 2.5 years' Acute Care/Med Surg Tele experience and an active RN license. The role supports education, collaboration, and continuous clinical growth.

Shifts are full-time days (6:45am-7:15pm) on 3/12 hr rotations, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, quality outcomes, and teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Min of 2.5 yr. Acute Care/ Med Surg Tele
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Perform patient assessments and create care plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health needs.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Ensure safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care delivery.
