Job summary

Lower Umpqua Hospital in Reedsport, OR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Unit. This is a full-time, in-person daytime role with patient-focused care using the nursing process. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the healthcare team toward optimal outcomes.

The position requires OR RN licensure, BLS certification, and experience in an acute care setting. A supportive team and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Oregon required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, patient-focused care using the nursing process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation).
• Coordinate care with other departments to implement patient care.
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation and review/update care plans.
• Administer medications following correct procedures and carry out treatments.
• Assist with emergencies and participate in patient care conferences and unit meetings.
