Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• Knowledge of nursing process and patient care documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and the care team

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and protocols
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety standards
