Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for a specified patient population. The role focuses on delivering direct patient care, coordinating with physicians and other health professionals, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.

The nurse will participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities. The position requires a valid New Jersey nursing license, BLS/CPR certification, and a willingness to continue learning.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience highly desired.
• BSN preferred or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs; strong teamwork.
• Time management and prioritizing skills a must; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assess, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to patient health.
• Develops and coordinates a care plan with patient/family involvement.
• Communicates and coordinates plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Documents care interventions and patient progress in the medical record.
• Provides safe nursing care following evidence-based policies.
