Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care team. You will provide compassionate care across units including Ortho Trauma, Med/Surg, Neuro Trauma, Cardiac Telemetry and Oncology.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 plus relocation benefits. Iowa RN license required; BSN preferred, BLS required, ACLS for telemetry units; Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months. 1+ year experience preferred, new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• ACLS for units with telemetry monitoring.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients with varying acuity.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with the team.
