Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients. You will assess respiratory conditions, administer treatments, manage ventilated patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an active California RCP license and an NBRC RRT/CRT credential, with current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

Active California RCP license required.
RRT or CRT credential through NBRC required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and ventilator management.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen and aerosol therapy.
Manage mechanically ventilated patients and monitor respiratory status.
Perform arterial blood gas sampling and pulmonary function testing.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records.
Assist physicians with bronchoscopy and other respiratory procedures.
Inspect, maintain, and prepare respiratory therapy equipment.
Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with staff training as needed.
