CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care unit in Washington, DC.

You will provide evidence-based nursing care to acutely ill adult patients, perform thorough assessments, and monitor cardiac status to detect changes early. You will administer medications, coordinate patient care, educate patients and families about conditions and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license and be licensed to practice.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrates strong communication and patient education abilities.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to acutely ill adult patients
• Conduct patient assessments, cardiac and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications and coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Support safe patient transitions and uphold quality and safety standards
