CoxHealth South is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapists in delivering patient-centered care at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO. You will assist with therapeutic activities and coordinate care with the clinical team.

Under supervision, you’ll work with diverse patients across age groups, ensuring safe, effective treatment and clear communication of progress. The role supports professional growth within a robust acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• No prior experience required.
• License to practice as PTA in Missouri is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with therapeutic exercises and treatment plans.
• Work with patients across pediatric to geriatric ages as referred for services.
• Communicate care plans and patient progress to the PT and team.
