Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist for its acute care team. You will evaluate patients, devise and implement treatment plans, and work closely with physicians and staff to maximize functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive PT evaluations of patients per physician referrals.

• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and safety.
• Coordinate with care team for discharge planning and community resources.
• Supervise PT students and rehabilitation staff as needed.
