Job summary

UNC Hillsborough is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to provide acute care services across a variety of patient populations at the Hillsborough Hospital. You will work with a team of experienced therapists focused on post-surgical orthopedics, general surgery, cardiac, cardio-pulmonary, geriatrics and medicine.

The role emphasizes strong time management, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Acute care orthopedic experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina. BLS.

Responsibilities

• Selects and performs PT evaluations to identify problems and sets treatment goals.
• Manages resources to accomplish PT treatment plan and documents in medical records.
• Assists with supervision and teaching for PT students or staff and coordinates programs.
