UNC Health is seeking a per-diem Acute Care Physical Therapist I to support our Rehabilitation Services in the UNC Hospitals setting. The PT I will perform evaluations, provide therapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize discharge planning and functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification and ongoing professional development are required.

Responsibilities

• Selects and performs PT evaluation procedures to identify problems and set goals.
• Manages resources to accomplish the PT plan.
• Documents in medical records and assists in billing/statistics.
• Manages PT caseload with efficiency.
• Provides supervision and teaching for PT students or staff.
• Plans and coordinates clinical programs and communicates with physicians and team members.
