Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI, seeks a Physical Therapist (PT) with acute care experience to provide consultative and rehabilitative services across multiple hospitals. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at maximizing functional outcomes and safe discharge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• 2 years of prior relevant experience preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire required.
• BLS certification within 3 months required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to UW Health facilities in acute care settings.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.
• Work within patient- and family-centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
• Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one's own practice and educate others.
