Provides skilled PT services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to restore function and promote independence. The role includes documenting care, mentoring aides, guiding students, and collaborating with the care team to ensure smooth, continuous patient treatment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required: Physical Therapy Assistant accredited by the CAPTE.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
• Washington PTA licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the physical therapy plan of care under the licensed PT supervision.
• Provide skilled PT services and caregiver education per treatment plan.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely per standards.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Mentor therapy aides and supervise PTA students.
