Job summary

Bear Valley Community Healthcare District is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct and administer prescribed physical therapy programs in hospital and outpatient settings. You will help patients restore function and maximize independence, while mentoring staff and contributing to department quality initiatives.

The role requires CA PT licensure and BLS, with possible involvement in education, QA, infection control and safety programs as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of the American Physical Therapy Association accredited training program.
• Current California Physical Therapy license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/client care and assessment in accordance with established guidelines.
• Develops an accurate individualized plan of care and evaluates effectiveness of treatment.
• Documents patient treatment, reports and charges daily.
