Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln Acute Care Rehab provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will evaluate patients, establish care plans with modality interventions, and document progress while coordinating with physicians and the care team.

The role also involves supervision of PTA and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure and active discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure to practice Physical Therapy is required.
• BLS certification is required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct therapy services to patients admitted seven days a week, including holidays.
• Evaluates patients and develops care plans with appropriate modalities and discharge needs.
• Gathers and interprets data from medical records and families for documentation.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, and discharge notes as needed.
• Communicates progress to physicians and staff; coordinates schedules and discharge planning.
• Supervises PTA and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
