Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist for Acute Care. The 20-hour schedule runs 6pm on weekdays with one weekend every 4 weeks, plus one summer and one winter holiday shift.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility and relieve pain, while educating clients and caregivers and supervising care provided by the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy with licensure.
• Current BLS certification and Virginia PT license.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitation programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and take responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
