UT Southwestern is seeking an Acute Care Physical Therapist for the Zale Location in Dallas. You will support Same Day Discharge and Total Joint Replacement patients, guiding mobility, education, and discharge planning within a focused orthopedic setting.

You will collaborate with surgeons, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams, with cross-training opportunities at CUH to gain exposure to complex acute care populations. This role emphasizes clinical growth in a growing service line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; eligible for Texas licensure.
• Active CPR or BLS certification required upon hire.
• Licensed Physical Therapist eligibility to practice in Texas upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized PT plans.
• Assist in Same Day Discharge and Total Joint Replacement protocols.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and staff.
• Document progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Prepare discharge plans and education for patients.
• Maintain safety and follow clinical guidelines.
