Job summary

Park Nicollet is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. This casual acute care role involves providing direct patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations, with pediatric care for some specialties.

The position uses diverse PT techniques to restore function and reduce pain. Work includes multiple hospital areas (general med/surgical, tele, ortho, neuro, oncology, ICU) with a requirement of at least two weekend days per month and potential weekday/holiday shifts;

Qualifications

• Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: membership in related professional organization; proficiency with communication and data processing equipment; proficiency with clinical equipment; proficiency with EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations (pediatric care for some roles).
• Uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore function, independence, and reduce pain.
• Casual acute care position with weekend requirements across multiple hospital areas; availability for weekdays/holidays as needed.
