Job summary

HealthWorks is the acute care therapy provider at MonHealth of Morgantown, WV. We are seeking per diem physical therapists for as-needed coverage in our 188-bed acute care hospital.

The PRN role offers flexible scheduling (Sun–Sat and holidays) with no set hours, with opportunities for new graduates and ongoing CEUs. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering rehab across brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and more.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document patient progress.
• Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians.
• Participate in team meetings and care planning.

Physical Therapist - Acute Care PRN

Schedule: PRN (Sun- Sat + Holidays)

HealthWorks is the acute care therapy provider at MonHealth of Morgantown, WV. Our inpatient hospital and multidisciplinary team of clinicians are seeking per diem (PRN) physical therapists (PT) for as-needed coverage.

Position Summary

Our 188-bed acute care hospital is open year-round, with additional hours available based on needs, including census influx, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave from current clinicians. With our PRN/per diem, there are no set hours or time commitments on either end. Previous experience is HIGHLY preferred, but we are OK considering new graduate physical therapists.

We are open every day except Christmas, with day shift hours for our clinical teams.
