Job summary

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications and intravenous solutions for patient care, under professional standards.

The role requires current California Pharmacy Technician registration and knowledge of the field; weekends may include a competitive rate. Part-time on-call schedule applies, with on-site locations in Southern California.

Qualifications

Current valid registration as a Pharmacy Technician issued by the State of California.
Knowledge of techniques and practices of a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist, prepares and provides prescribed medications, intravenous solutions, and other pharmaceuticals as needed for optimal patient care according to professional standards and practices.
May perform other duties as assigned.
