Job summary

University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) seeks a full-time, twelve month, non-tenure track faculty position in the School of Pharmacy, with practice site in Salisbury, Maryland. The role focuses on didactic and experiential education in pharmacy practice and direct patient care to diverse communities.

Salary ranges from $116,500 to $135,960 with comprehensive benefits. Opportunities for scholarly activity, service on committees, and involvement in regional/national organizations are offered.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Completion of a post-graduate year one (PGY1) residency or at least three (3) years of comparable clinical experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic and experiential education in pharmacy practice, specifically in acute care and related subjects.
• Participate in direct patient care.
• Develop/maintain a practice which supports interactions with other health professionals.
• Develop/revise course(s) to meet and exceed accreditation standards.
• Cooperate and coordinate with others in team-taught courses.
• Develop and commit to scholarly activity.
• Serve on School and University committees.
• Participate in regional and/or national professional organizations along with peers and students.
