Job summary

Amergis in Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacist to perform clinical and professional pharmaceutical work, including compounding and dispensing drugs and IV supplies.

You will review prescriptions for accuracy, collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor patient outcomes and adverse effects, and provide guidance on drug interactions and side effects while analyzing prescribing trends to ensure safe and effective therapy for patients.

Qualifications

• Current registration and/or license as a Pharmacist in state of practice required.
• One year of experience working as a licensed pharmacist preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work in the compounding and dispensing of drugs and IV supplies.
• Reviews prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review and evaluate patient effectiveness and adverse effects.
• Provides information and advice regarding drug interactions and potential side effects as well as analyzes prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
